Does the adidas NMD R1 Reflective Black 3M look familiar?

An almost identical adidas NMD launched earlier this month and sold out within minutes. The “Triple Black” colorway is far from new for adidas, but Three Stripes has done something different with it this time around on the NMD_R1.This will be the first time black boost hits the popular adidas NMD model, and sure will collect a ton of hype. At first glance it may look like the same colourway and design, but this latest collection utilises the power of 3M reflective material.Highlighted with 3M Reflective detailing that appears on the laces, side stripes and logo on the tongues, along with Grey color blocks. Only coming to life when hit with direct light, the shoe sparkles and glistens for a completely one of a kind look.

As with all adidas NMD releases, this shoe is guaranteed to sell out.Adidas is prepping one of its most popular silhouettes for the winter with the addition of wool to the adidas NMD R1.We’re used to seeing the monochrome effect on Primeknit or mesh, but this rendition takes on a ribbed upper instead. Find your motivation on sport

I often get a few weeks of absolute burning need to get out on the trails and some weeks its feels like a chore to lace up my Adidas Yeezy boost. I assume that this must be the ebb and flow of training and the human state of interest in something that is hard to do, physically and mentally. Almost like your body and mind decide to protest against the difficulty they are about to undergo. However I have realized that this is mostly a state of mind that requires perseverance to push through. So many times my body feels tired but really it is my mind, or my ego, trying to keep me from doing something that I could possibly fail at or perhaps not fully enjoy.

But I am not a professional athlete, so why do I run with my Adidas NMD? Why do I feel the need to push, to persevere? Is it for a love of the sport? For the struggle? For the crushing sense of fatigue? The feeling of accomplishment? Or perhaps just the basic need to use my body to its limit, because I live in a society that is designed for comfort. Perhaps it is for all of these reasons combined.

It’s hard to describe the process of running or why I do it. It’s the same problem with trying to explain why you climb a mountain…you struggle to the top and then what? You take a look around and then you climb back down only to start dreaming of going through the process again. Why put yourself through the struggle? What is the motivation?

It is the struggle that is intrinsically part of the process that refines you. It strips away the weakness and makes you want to push yourself through to the other side; to see if you can do it and to really see what kind of person you are on the inside.

What I find most interesting about the process is the mental aspect. There is so much importance to strengthening your mind when it comes to long distance running with my adidas ultra boost. When I was training for my first 50km trail race, that distance was the limit that was set for me in my mind. I knew I only needed to be able to push my body to that point to be able to succeed. Now in training for my first 80km trail race I find myself thinking that 50km is simply a training day distance, a distance to lead up to the big day. Running 50km is now no longer a limit but a stepping stone.

It’s trying to find limits and pushing past them that is drawing me to the starting line of my first 80km race. The thought that I could do something that only a year ago would have been physically and mentally impossible for me, is now within my ability. This journey of pushing myself past a threshold, a threshold that my mind set for me in it’s desire to keep my body comfortable, is what motivates me to keep moving. The desire to be uncomfortable, to gasp for breath, to want to feel the deepest fatigue my body has ever known, to feel the burning in my muscles…and yet come across that finish line knowing that I gave it my all.

The New adidas Originals EQT Support 93/17 Is the Crispest Yet

The shoe boasts a woven upper in a white pixelated pattern, countered with premium leather panels and the EQT series’ signature webbed three stripes lacing system. Finishing touches include essential TPU ankle supports, an external heel cage, an OrthoLite sockliner and hits of black and “Turbo Red.”

As always, adidas pulls off another strong follow-up release for one of its newest and most popular silhouettes. Nothing much is changed from the original (which you can see here) but the colors feel a lot lighter and cleaner ahead of the summer months.

Cadysport Update adidas NMD Women’s Winter 2017 Release Date

adidas is making a strong statement in 2017 and they are doing so with the adidas NMD. Spring 2017 is looking very strong for the brand as they seem to have at least 10 pairs of the NMD model set to release.

During the month of March, the three stripes brand will be releasing men’s and women’s specific models. While we have previewed some of these in the past, we didn’t know the release date until now.

Various materials will be used throughout like suede, mesh and neoprene but from this viewing, no Primeknit will be featured. In addition, each will feature the traditional White Boost midsole.

The Women’s lineup of adidas NMD shown will also debut at select adidas Original retailers on March 17th, 2017. Depending on the model you are interested in, retail prices will range from $100 to $130. You can see additional photos of each pair by scrolling below.
