The adidas NMD in “Black/Red” will join the Triple Black, Solar Red, Panda and more NMD colorways that will be releasing in the future.It’s been a long time coming, but we finally have a BRED, or black red colourway on the NMD.This adidas NMD R1 takes on the sneakerhead favorite “bred” color scheme as the entire knitted upper of the shoe has been done in black including the three stripes branding, laces, eyestay, heel tab, the Boost midsole, and the rubber outsole.The adidas NMD XR1 Bred benefits from a sleek Core Black Primeknit upper with white speckles throughout while that ‘Triple Black’ aesthetic continues on the Boost midsole unit only to be interrupted by a head-turning Solar Red midsole bumper for a flash of vibrancy. The upper takes on the dark theme with everything covered in black including the laces, inner lining and branding. Unlike earlier models, this pair will be covered with synthetic mesh as opposed to Primeknit.
This new adidas NMD colorway features a “Bred” look, with a full black upper constructed with mesh & red tints on the tabs.Other impressive features include the addition of neoprene to the heel giving added comfort and not forgetting the Ultra Boost sole underfoot.The shoe also feature the traditional white boost midsole with a black continental rubber outsole, as well as black lining. Delivering re-energising protection, this is one shoe that’s guaranteed to impress. Of course, the NMD design wouldn’t be complete without those iconic EVA midsole plugs. Completing the highly prized BRED colourway, these feature in red. The only contrast comes on two of the EVA inserts on the midsole which have been done in Lust Red for a nice pop.The adidas NMD R1 Bred is scheduled to launch on Friday via the retailers on the right hand side.
